The Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business introduces its Women’s Convention 2019 to be
held on October 17th & 18th, 2019 at the Mt Hope campus. Created for forward-thinking female
professionals and entrepreneurs, this highly engaging and interactive 2-day event seeks to equip
women with the increased knowledge, capacity and inspiration to effect the desired change and
advancement in both personal and professional spheres.
As we encourage women to Level Up!, our internationally and regionally celebrated keynote
speakers will share their experiences, strategies and lessons learned on their paths to success in
female leadership. Our highly interactive workshops will provide effective and immediate action
tools, skills and strategies to allow women to Level Up!
Meet Our Speakers
We are pleased to present two feature speakers for this event, each of which will address some
of the unique challenges that women face in both their personal and professional capacities.
Best- selling author of The Confidence Factor for Women in Leadership, Carol Sankar will teach
the audience about the importance and mastering of self-advocacy as an advancement tool in
your professional development, how to package and monetise the value of your professional
expertise and experience and how to negotiate without compromising your value.
Carol Sankar
Carol Sankar is an international high level R&D advisor, investor &
founder of the Confidence Factor for Leaders. Her research has been
featured at The University of Miami, Harvard University, San Jose State
University, St Leonard’s College and more.
In addition, Carol has been featured in numerous publications, media
outlets and conferences; including recent features in Forbes, SXSW,
Essence, Entrepreneur.com, TEDx, The Steve Harvey Show, The TODAY

Carol holds a degree in Political Science & International History from Hofstra University in New

Our second feature speaker Janice Sutherland is well known for
