Angela de Coteau

Mrs. Angela de Coteau has taught and facilitated locally and regionally for over twenty-five years. She was a full-time lecturer in the School of Accounting and Management. She is a tutor at Open Campus, UWI, St Augustine.  She was employed as the Director of Students Affairs at College of Science Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT) and taught in Business Management at that college. She is presently an adjunct lecturer with Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business for approximately sixteen years. Mrs. De Coteau possesses a Certificate and a Bsc. (Hons) in Social Work from the University of the West Indies, Mona Jamaica, a post- graduate certificate in Project Management, a a Master’s of Science Degree in Management and Human Resource Management, a certificate from The American Management association in Myers Briggs Type Indicator (Psychometric Testing) and a Post Graduate Certification in Advanced Business Education.

 

 

 

 

Dr. Nneka Joseph

Dr. Nneka Joseph is a lecturer and adjunct consultant with the UWI, Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business. She is a trained Industrial and Organizational psychologist with a PhD from the University of South Florida. She also minored in Management and Statistics. Her areas of expertise include research methods, statistics, data analytics, and the study and development of psychometric instruments.

 

Dr. Joseph has lent her expertise to several consulting interventions, which includes executive and staff recruitment and selection by using aptitude and psychometrics to enhance corporate interventions and yield better results. She also teaches research methods and statistics as well as advises Masters and Doctoral students on their practicum and dissertation papers.

Dr. Sherry-Ann Ganase

Dr. Sherry-Ann Ganase is a recent graduate of the University of the West Indies in the field of Economics. She has a wealth of lecturing experience at the tertiary level, teaching subject areas such as Engineering Economics (University of Trinidad and Tobago – UTT), Environmental Economics (The College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago – COSAATT), and Intermediate Macroeconomics (The University of the West Indies); she has also taught CAPE Economics at the secondary level. Her passion for teaching is evident in her charismatic style of teaching and the academic performance of her students. Dr. Ganase currently has two publications and is a past recipient of numerous scholarships.

 

Dr. Balraj Kistow

Dr. Kistow is a Lecturer in the areas of International Business and Accounting and Finance and the Programme Director for the Master of Small and Medium Enterprise Management (MSMEM). He is one of the lead coordinator for the WEF Global Competitiveness Survey in Trinidad and Tobago and Doctorial Graduate of the Lok Jack GSB, where his thesis was focused on the impact of culture on business and competitiveness.  He has been teaching and researching in the area for more than seven years and has presented at conferences across the region. He recently led a group of students on an intercultural educational tour to Bogota Colombia in May 2011.  He has previously worked in the financial sector and as a utility regulator.

 

He has been in teaching and research for over 15 years. He has also been involved in distance education and e-learning for over 10 years. .He is a member of the St David Social Welfare Board and a member of the Northeast Zonal Council of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board  He has presented and published in the areas of Sustainable Development, Finance and Accounting, Small Business Management and Distance Learning and is regular contributor to the Trinidad Guardian’s Business Section.  His current research areas include Sustainability of SMEs in the region, Culture in International Business and Open and Distance Learning.

 

Dr. Marcia Headley

Dr. Marcia Headley holds a Ph.D. from Howard University in Washington D.C., as well as postgraduate qualifications in International Relations. She currently lectures Business History and Society, Culture & the Environment in the BISB. She is a strong professional who advocates continuous learning that leads to personal transformation. She believes that students must be conscious creators of knowledge in order to stay relevant in an uncertain and increasingly volatile future. Dr. Headley’s many interests include the impact of principled decision-making on human conduct in business, education, and organizational life. She has lectured at the secondary and tertiary levels and is trained in curriculum development and authentic learning.  .

 

Tobias Schulze Frenking

Tobias is an economist and business consultant with over ten years of work experience, of which he spent six in the Caribbean, working with private, academia and not-for-profit organizations. He is Adjunct Faculty at the University of the West Indies’ Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business, where he teaches Microeconomics and International Trade in the Undergrad Program and International Economics, Public Policy and Spanish for Business in several Postgrad Programs and has consulted with multilateral development institutions like the European Union and the Inter-American Development Bank. Tobias uniquely combines economics, business and academia with the objective to effect positive change in the communities he works with.

 

Renee Thomas

Renee Thomas is the Bachelor of International & Sustainable Business (BISB) Programme Director & Entrepreneurship lecturer at the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business (ALJGSB). She has over 20 years’ experience in marketing and sales, having previously worked in banking, distribution and media industries. Renee has been with ALJGSB for 7 years, managing the Student Recruitment Unit for 5 years. In her current role, she works closely with faculty to create a positive learning environment for students and is responsible for ensuring the Business School’s quality standards are maintained and enhanced through the design, delivery and evaluation of the BISB programme. Renee is a Chartered Marketer with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and holds a Master of Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University, UK. She is a business mentor, helping budding entrepreneurs build their toolkit for success.
